  Welcome to our very own 
  
  Redwood Shores Open team tennis tournament!

  Remember to register for the picnic in the park immediately following the tournament to enjoy New York style pizza. Please volunteer to bring side dishes.

  Sign up for the tournament individually and we'll put you on a team and assign a captain (might be you!).

  There will be 4 team's

  • The Shores Aces
  • The Lagoon Legends
  • The Shorebird Smashers
  • The Bay Breakers

  We'll specify the format (Mixed, Women's, Men's)  Each team will have the opportunity to play each of the other 3 teams. Each game won will count as one point for your team. At the end of the tournament, the team with the most points will win the grand prize! Good luck, have fun, and may the best team win!!!

  If not completed already, please renew your membership or pay any outstanding invoices prior to the tournament!  Thank you!

  RSTC tournaments are open to players 3.0 (intermediate) and up. You should be able to serve, return serve, and hit medium-paced shots consistently.  Let's play tennis!
  

  

  Entry deadline is at 5:00pm Tuesday August 11, or when the maximum of 24 players have registered, 12 men and 12 women. Registration is open to members and the public.

  Hi Tennis Friends,

  The US Open is almost here, and there's no better way to celebrate than with a little friendly competition, great food, and even better company!

  After our morning of tennis, join us for our RS US Open Picnic Social as we kick off the 2026 US Open together.

  Saturday, August 15, 2026

  Shorebird Park (next to the tennis courts)

   We'll Be Serving:

  • Pizza & Chips
  • Plenty of fun, laughter, and post-match stories!

   Potluck Picnic

  To make our picnic even more delicious, we'd appreciate it if everyone could bring a little something to share:

  • Salads
  • Appetizers or small bites
  • Desserts
  • Fruit
  • Chips & dips
  • Beverages

   Don't Forget To Bring:

  • A picnic blanket or folding chair (optional)
  • Your favorite tennis stories (maybe a few excuses for those missed volleys! )

  Show off your patriotic tennis spirit by wearing your best Red, White & Blue tennis outfit. Whether you're channeling a Grand Slam champion or just love the colors, let's fill the park with US Open energy!

  We'll celebrate the day's matches, congratulate our champions, cheer on everyone's effort, and get excited for another thrilling US Open tournament together.

  We can't wait to see everyone for an afternoon of tennis, delicious food, and fantastic company!
